Last night, Prestige was pleased to host a fun-filled evening of “Best in Class”—a virtual tour of fabulous hotels and resorts, paired with fantastic wines.
Our guides on this extraordinary tour were Leslee Miller, a certified sommelier and owner of wine consulting firm Amusees; along with Michael Agnew, the first Minnesota-Certified Cicerone and owner of A Perfect Pint. Our special guest speaker was Katharine Anderson Groethe, U.S. importer of Korta Katerina wines from Croatia.
Our journey started in Croatia, home to one of the most stunning coastlines in the world. Meeting Planner attendees envisioned breathtaking views from the SeaDream yacht while sipping delicious wine from the region.
We then moved on to California, the source of many superb wines. The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay peaked our interest with their beautiful resort and a perfect pairing with chocolate. Continuing up the coast, we visited Meadowood Napa Valley, a spectacular resort that treats everyone as best in class. Next, we headed to Four Seasons Santa Barbara, with wine and accommodations fit for a king. Our virtual tour ended at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, where we finished relaxed with wine, beer, and spa candle lights.
