What does that mean?

In a nutshell, Prestige provides meeting and event solutions. From site selection and event services to virtual events, meeting escrow, VAT reclaim and air ticketing, our services allow our planner clients to move above the details and focus on the bigger picture. Our experienced sales team works to find and contract the best possible hotels, resorts, destination management companies and cruises for groups, meticulously reviews and negotiates contracts and can connect their clients with our full-service event development and management team.

What will I do?

In this role, you will manage hotel site selections, start to finish, based on client requirements. You will provide consultation to clients on meeting request forms and manage the sourcing process using CVENT sourcing tool. You will work with selected hotels to ensure all meeting specifications are identified, and evaluate and recommend suppliers. You will manage, negotiate and adhere to all contracting guidelines as identified in standard operating procedures.

This role will also entail you to maintain accurate data post-contracting to ensure financial data is captured. You will partner with Event Service Management to provide Annual Performance Reviews and support Sales and Event Service Management in preparing for quarterly review meetings. Some will will require you to work before and after traditional working hours (e.g. 8:00am-5:00pm) and include some weekends to appropriately support events.

Successful Prestige Strategic Hotel Sourcing Specialists are:

  • Organized and some experience working with medical/pharmaceutical companies, especially regarding guidelines for HCP’s (Health Care Providers)
  • Ability to be flexible with hours worked to accommodate client contacts in various time zones
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Maintain a high level of “Customer Focus” attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to fit in and collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong customer service skills
