Interview with Mark Howard, Vice President of Sales at Advantage Destination Management Services

“We like to think that 16 minds are better than one. Often times, those lunches are where we come up with our best ideas,” said Mark Howard, Vice President of Sales at Advantage DMS.
Advantage’s approach to collaboration results in incredible concepts. Howard reflected on a recent program where a client came in with a car to give away and Advantage took care of the rest. The company sent participants on a geo-caching scavenger hunt around Miami, ending up at a mod hotel poolside reception where there were ‘mermaids’ in the pool diving for clams, one of which had a key to the new car inside.
This dedication to creativity has led Advantage to be named one of the top 25 DMCs globally by Special Events Magazine for the third time in the award’s 10 year history. Advantage has a 14,000 square foot décor warehouse in North Miami Beach where the main office is located. In July 2014, Advantage DMS announced the opening of their second office in Orlando, which will work collaboratively with the Miami office to continue creating programs that are highly creative and truly, authentically local.
